Urban Stories Festival, West Palm Beach, Florida

Blue Planet was delighted to be a planning partner for the inaugural Urban Stories Festival held in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2018. The brainchild of Serena Schreiber and her Howl at the Moon writers’ initiative, the festival unfolded on the downtown waterfront and inside the Mandel Public Library on Clematis Street.

Blue Planet hosted a professional reading by three South Florida authors:

    • Victoria Fedden, author of This Is Not My Beautiful Life
    • Michael Pagán, nominee for this year’s Pushcart Prize
    • Leslie Streeter, writer for the Palm Beach Post

Itty Bitty City Stories writing workshop, where participants brought a memory set in a city and left with a finished flash-memoir piece. Several of the workshop-goers then took to the stage for a reading of their newly completed work.
